Salary Band $120819 - $137522 p.a. pro-rata Kiwisaver

  • Permanent position
  • Full time vacancy (40 hours per week)
  • Monday to Friday working hours (*with an on-call component)

About the Role

Dunedin Hospital is the Cardiology/Cardiac Surgery centre for Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora - Southern. We are fortunate to be able to offer good training opportunities both locally and internationally as well as maintaining close relations with the prestigious Otago University. The Cardiology Department itself is warm welcoming and social.

About you

The successful candidate must hold aPost-graduate qualification in Cardiac Ultrasound (QUT or DMU).

  • CPRB/ MRTB registration and APC (or ability to obtain)
  • Evidence of ongoingCPD and self-directed learning
  • Paediatric scanning would be an advantage
  • This post is ideal for someone who is competent and able to work independently as a cardiac sonographer
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills are essential

Salary range

This role belongs to the APEX Sonographer Collective Agreement and falls between the step 1 ($120819 p.a.) and Step 6 ($137522 p.a. pro-rata)
