Are you an experienced or newly qualified Sonographer looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in your community Join our friendly and supportive Radiology team at Middlemore Hospital and Manukau Health Park where your expertise helps deliver high-quality care to one of New Zealands most diverse populations.

About the role

Youll provide safe effective and patient-focused ultrasound services across our busy hospital and community settings. Working as part of a multidisciplinary Radiology team youll perform a wide range of ultrasound procedures ensuring a high standard of diagnostic imaging and care. Youll collaborate closely with Radiologists and registrars contribute to teaching student sonographers and support continuous quality improvement across our service.

About you

Were looking for a Sonographer who is:

  • Qualified with DMU or an equivalent recognised postgraduate sonography qualification
  • Registered (or eligible for registration) with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board (MRTB) and hold an APC
  • Skilled in producing high-quality diagnostic images with a commitment to patient safety and comfort
  • A strong communicator and team player who thrives in a busy dynamic environment
  • Committed to ongoing professional development and culturally responsive care
  • Experience in musculoskeletal vascular gynaecological or obstetric ultrasound would be an advantage but we also welcome applications from newly qualified Sonographers
