About the Role
As Chef de Partie at Mee So youll:
Take ownership of your section and ensure smooth efficient service
Prepare and cook a range of Japanese and Korean-inspired dishes
Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to execute menu concepts and daily specials
Maintain high standards of presentation consistency and flavour
Help train and support junior kitchen staff
Ensure food safety hygiene and cleanliness standards are met
Contribute ideas for new dishes and seasonal menu updates
Youll be working in a fast-paced creative kitchen where quality and innovation come first.
Qualifications :
What Youll Bring
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Chef ready to step up
A genuine love of Asian cuisine especially Japanese and Korean
A flair for plating flavour balance and presentation
Strong teamwork communication and time management skills
A commitment to quality consistency and creativity
Availability for a mix of day night and weekend shifts
Hold a valid Food Safety Certificate
Have full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship available)
