Job Summary

The Sr. Solution Developer on the Factory team (part of our larger Solutions Consulting organization) is a hands on technical developer with the ability to develop and position solutions while achieving quarterly and annual sales objectives in support of our global sales team. This role is a hybrid role that straddles ServiceNow Platform Development and ServiceNow Pre-Sales Consulting. This is a dynamic team serves a high-demand need within the company. What you get to do in this role:

  • Understand solution requirements and develop key solution components on the ServiceNow Platform
  • Provide mentoring and training to peers colleagues and partners
  • Generate product demo scripts and scenarios and maintain demonstration environment
  • Scope and deliver Proof of Concept/Proof of Value engagements with account teams
  • Stay current on product developments/releases to a level required for demo and POC/POV
  • Support Marketing events user conferences trade shows webinars etc.
  • Stay current on competitive analyses and understand differentiators between the company and its competitors
  • Understand business and technical problems addressed by the products including key regulations business drivers evolving business needs and security 
  • In conjunction with Sales and Professional Services conduct transition briefing - communicate commitments and expectations in preparation for deployment 

 


Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes decision-making or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools automating workflows analyzing AI-driven insights or exploring AIs potential impact on the function or industry.
  • 4 - 6 years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience in the customer service field service or CRM software industry 

  • Demonstrated proficiency in JavaScript HTML CSS
  • Advanced working knowledge of developing solutions on the ServiceNow Platform including experience with Glide scripting (GlideRecord GlideAjax GlideSystem and related APIs).
  • Understanding of data model relationships ACLs and script includes within ServiceNow applications.
  • Experience building or extending ServiceNow AI Agents Now Assist or Generative AI workflows to enhance automation and user experience a plus.
  • Certified ServiceNow Application Developer certification is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technology and keep up in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to actively listen to account team solution requirements and collaborate on a solution to address the customers business issue
  • Eagerness and willingness to learn 
  • Demonstrated proactive approach to perform without being told what to do
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and be efficient to minimize wasted effort
  • Ability to adapt and pivot as the environment can change at a rapid pace
  • Proven ability to live up to commitments while maintaining integrity and focus on details
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to include technical and business concepts
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science or Technology is a plus

 

FD21

For positions in this location we offer a base pay of $102900 - $169800 plus equity (when applicable) variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications skill level competencies and work location. We also offer health plans including flexible spending accounts a 401(k) Plan with company match ESPP matching donations a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
