You are a Microsoft Subject Matter Expert! You love helping customers on their digital journey promoting the adoption of Microsoft cloud technology to help drive business outcomes. You are passionate about helping customers solve challenges through the delivery of ongoing solutions that reduce risk and manage costs.

TheSenior Microsoft Technology Specialistis responsible for supporting the Microsoft Cloud and Workplace sales strategy within their aligned sales districts. You will support new customer acquisition through participation in demand generation activities for your districts while also growing existing customer spend through proactive sales campaigns leveraging Microsoft programs and participating in Softchoice SAM and lifecycle services.

Successful execution will require strong alignment with the local Microsoft specialist team units as well as a specialized knowledge of Microsoft products licensing vehicles programs and funding.

What youll do:

• Lead pre-sales support for Microsoft Azure and/or M365 solutions and Softchoice support offers providing expert guidance to sales teams and customers.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive solution recommendations and roadmaps tailored to customer needs.
• Strategize and execute targeted sales campaigns to drive new customer acquisition and grow existing customer spend.
• Identify and leverage Microsoft programs and incentives to maximize customer value.
• Collaborate with Sales to create and implement strategic account plans for key accounts focusing on growth opportunities addressing challenges and ensuring long-term customer success.
• Oversee a pipeline of Microsoft opportunities monitoring performance and ensuring alignment with territory goals.
• Engage in SAM and Lifecycle services activities to promote cross-sell and up-sell opportunities for key accounts.
• Participate in sales enablement activities sharing your expertise on aligned Microsoft solutions.
• Represent the company at customer and partner events including webinars CIEs and other thought leadership activities.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with Microsoft counterparts to support co-sell initiatives and highlight Softchoices competitive differentiation.

What youll bring to the table:

• Extensive experience with Microsoft cloud solutions and a deep technical proficiency.
• 5 years of industry-relevant experience in sales with a proven track record of success.
• 3 years of experience with Microsoft Cloud or Volume Licensing solutions including relevant programs for public sector and educational organizations.
• Demonstrated experience working with public sector organizations including government agencies broader public sector (BPS) and educational institutions.
• Continuous learning mindset staying updated on new trends technology updates and cloud technologies. Actively leverage Microsoft Learn and other resources to enhance both soft and technical skills.
• Achievement of Microsoft certifications aligned to assigned products is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to drive consultative sales conversations understanding customer pain points and positioning Microsoft products and services to address those challenges.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions and departments to achieve common goals.
• Excellent analytical time management and organizational skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact and communicate at the executive level.

Pay Range:
The typical pay range for this role is $59920 - $74900.

Note: the pay range represents the full pay range for this position. Each individual offer will take into consideration a range of factors including prior experience and geographic location.

In addition to the base salary this role is eligible for additional elements of compensation including (cell allowances annual bonus or commissions etc.) as well as a comprehensive benefits plan.
