Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Intern to join our team and contribute to fostering a safe and compliant this role you will support the development coordination and implementation of key health and safety initiatives across the organization. Your efforts will directly impact our commitment to safety and industry best practices.
This internship will begin on May 26 2026 and end on August 14 2026.
Highlights of your role
- CoordinateSafety &Health activities at a manufacturing site tocomply withall applicable regulationscompany processes policies programsand procedures to promote abest-in-classsafety culturecentered on injury prevention
- Champion all Safety& Healthactivities within the facility by working closely withdepartment leadershipemployeesandsitemanagement to recognize generate and implement ideas to continually improve safetyperformance through a mix of leading and lagging indicator-driven efforts and initiatives
- Assistthe team with conductingSafety& Healthaudits includingdocumenting findings and producing reports
- Provide information signs posters barriers and other materials to warn of potential and actual safety hazards and to prevent access to hazardous conditions
- Assistwith the testing and servicing of safety equipment and systems
- Follow up onroot cause and corrective actionsdata entryin incident reporting system
Youre a good fit if you have (or if you can)
- Must be enrolled in a two or four-year program in a related field such as Environmental Safety and Risk Management
- Excellent communication and computer skills(MicrosoftOffice)
- Aptitude for technology
- Ability to work effectively with management as well as with associates on the plant floor
- Willingness togrow within the Safety& Healthspace includingseekingadditionaltraining and certifications
- Ability tofrequentlystand and walk around the facility
