About the Role
This 2-year secondment is open to current Suncorp employees with significant procurement experience. Youll lead a high-performing team across procurement and accounts payable driving compliance optimisation and strategic value. Reporting to the EM Procurement Governance Operations & Payables youll contribute to group-wide procurement transformation and ESG commitments.
What Youll Do
Lead the development and implementation of procurement frameworks governance and controls to ensure compliance and optimisation.
Oversee accounts payable operations across onshore and offshore teams ensuring accuracy timeliness and service excellence.
Drive procurement benefit frameworks and automated reporting to deliver measurable value.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and risk teams to maintain a robust control environment.
Champion ethical and sustainable procurement aligned with Suncorps ESG goals.
Manage offshore service delivery including vendor relationships KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
What Youll Bring
Extensive procurement experience (7 years) across multiple sectors with strong commercial acumen.
Proven leadership (5 years) including managing offshore teams and complex stakeholder environments.
Deep understanding of procurement policy benefit frameworks and compliance standards.
Advanced skills in contract and supply chain management risk and regulatory frameworks and change leadership.
Ability to influence educate and collaborate across diverse teams and functions.
Strong knowledge of risk management methodologies and regulatory frameworks with experience applying them in a first line of defence (1LOD) environment.
