About the Role
This 2-year secondment is open to current Suncorp employees with significant procurement experience. Youll lead a high-performing team across procurement and accounts payable driving compliance optimisation and strategic value. Reporting to the EM Procurement Governance Operations & Payables youll contribute to group-wide procurement transformation and ESG commitments.
What Youll Do
- Lead the development and implementation of procurement frameworks governance and controls to ensure compliance and optimisation.
- Oversee accounts payable operations across onshore and offshore teams ensuring accuracy timeliness and service excellence.
- Drive procurement benefit frameworks and automated reporting to deliver measurable value.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and risk teams to maintain a robust control environment.
- Champion ethical and sustainable procurement aligned with Suncorps ESG goals.
- Manage offshore service delivery including vendor relationships KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
What Youll Bring
- Extensive procurement experience (7 years) across multiple sectors with strong commercial acumen.
- Proven leadership (5 years) including managing offshore teams and complex stakeholder environments.
- Deep understanding of procurement policy benefit frameworks and compliance standards.
- Advanced skills in contract and supply chain management risk and regulatory frameworks and change leadership.
- Ability to influence educate and collaborate across diverse teams and functions.
- Strong knowledge of risk management methodologies and regulatory frameworks with experience applying them in a first line of defence (1LOD) environment.
