Provides a short-term clinical crisis intervention service that is a mobile and/or on-site face-to-face therapeutic response to a youth experiencing a behavioral health crisis. Works as part of an interdisciplinary team to identify assess stabilize and treat the youth and their family with the goal of reducing imminent risk and increasing coping skills and functioning. Works to link the youth and their family to the lowest level of care preferably resources in their home community. Assists the youth and family in engaging and actively participate in the crisis intervention. Employs in-depth knowledge of community resources and services to guide clients and acts as a bridge between families agencies and community resources.I. Major Responsibilities:
1. Provides support and guidance to youth and families experiencing crisis.
2. Assists in the development of risk management/safety plan.
3. Refers youth and families to support services.
4. Acts as a bridge between families agencies and community supports.
5. Assures families full involvement in crisis intervention services including teams adherence to family voice and choice.
6. Actively participates in the multi-disciplinary team meetings and case discussions.

License/Certification/Education:
Required:
1. Bachelors degree in psychology counseling or social work.
2. Must be able to pass a CORI background check.
3. Current valid US-issued drivers license and driving is a requirement.

1. One year of psychology counseling social work or related experience.

III. Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions:
1. Must be able to move about the space periodically during the shift.
2. Must be able to hear understand and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g. machinery alarms medicals codes or alarms).
3. Must be able to stoop crouch kneel or crawl for various reasons.
4. Must be able to work weekends and evening hours.
