Job Summary:
The QA/QC Engineer (Civil Works) is responsible for ensuring that all civil construction activities comply with project specifications quality standards and relevant codes. c
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor the Project Quality Plan and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) for all civil works.
- Conduct inspection and testing of civil activities such as excavation formworks reinforcement concreting structural masonry and finishing works.
- Review and verify material test reports mix designs and calibration certificates.
- Ensure all materials delivered to the site comply with approved Material Submittals and standards.
- Involve in Inspection of delivered materials and ensure that in complies with the specifications project requirements and Material Approval.
- Coordinate with the Client/Consultant for inspection requests and quality-related issues.
- Maintain and update Quality Control Records including inspection reports test results and non-conformance reports (NCR).
- Managing NCR and corrective actions investigating its root cause and come up with preventive action.
- Monitor construction practices to ensure compliance with approved drawings specifications and method statements.
- Assist in the review and approval of QA/QC documentation.
- Participate in internal audits and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Ensure that work execution adheres to safety and environmental standards.
- Support continuous improvement and provide feedback to the QA/QC Manager for process enhancement.
- Background in Electrical Testing.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
- Licensed Civil Engineer (preferably but not mandatory).
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in quality control/assurance for civil construction projects.
- Knowledge of DPWH ASTM AASHTO and ISO 9001 standards.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and coordination skills with clients and project teams.
- Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
