The Massachusetts Bar Associations Mock Trial Program offers high school students an opportunity to test their skills as lawyers and witnesses in a simulated courtroom competition. Throughout the competition students learn about the fundamentals of the American judicial system and how it can impact their staff member at Communication and Organizational and ability to meet the Coordinators Responsibilities outlined below:Responsibilities Teacher Coordinators are vital to the success of the Massachusetts Bar Associations Mock Trial Program. The Teacher Coordinators communicate directly with the key stakeholders: the district Social Studies Coordinator the legal mentor volunteers students families and the high schools. a team of 8-15 one Teacher Coordinator orientation session on October 29th (Zoom). and attend weekly student sessions and culminating teaching and learning as outlined through the Massachusetts Bar Associations Mock Trial communication with all stakeholders including school administration students families legal mentors and district student attendance records and permission consistent student attendance and commitment to the students in catching up with any missed sessions. feedback to help inform and improve the with the Transportation Department to arrange transportation for site and communicate with your students Legal $2000.00 stipend for October through MarchFunding SourceLocal
