Role Overview:
The Senior Transition Manager cum Delivery Manager will lead end-to-end transition and delivery activities for a large enterprise customer ensuring seamless migration of services (AMS Consulting Projects etc..) operational excellence and adherence to contractual commitments. This role combines strategic transition planning with hands-on delivery management requiring strong leadership stakeholder engagement and deep understanding of SAP and enterprise IT landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
Transition Management:
Planning & Governance:
o Develop and execute detailed transition plans including timelines resource allocation and risk mitigation strategies.
o Establish governance frameworks and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Stakeholder Engagement:
o Act as the primary point of contact for transition-related activities with the customer and internal teams.
o Conduct regular steering committee meetings and provide transparent status reporting.
Knowledge Transfer & Documentation:
o Drive structured knowledge transfer from incumbent teams to NTT DATA Business Solutions teams.
o Ensure all documentation (processes SOPs SLAs) is complete and validated.
Risk & Issue Management:
o Identify potential risks early and implement mitigation plans.
o Manage escalations effectively to maintain customer confidence.
Delivery Management:
Service Delivery Oversight:
o Ensure high-quality delivery of SAP and related IT services post-transition.
o Monitor KPIs SLAs and operational performance metrics.
Team Leadership:
o Lead cross-functional teams including SAP consultants technical experts and support staff.
o Foster a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement.
Financial & Contractual Management:
o Manage budgets forecasts and cost optimization initiatives.
o Ensure compliance with contractual terms and drive profitability.
Customer Relationship Management:
o Build strong relationships with customer leadership and act as a trusted advisor.
o Identify opportunities for service improvement and additional value creation.
Required Skills & Experience:
Experience:
o 12 years in IT service delivery and transition management preferably in SAP environments.
o Proven track record of managing large-scale transitions for enterprise customers.
Leadership & Communication:
o Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
o Ability to lead large teams and manage complex multi-vendor environments.
Certifications (Preferred):
o PMP or PRINCE2
o ITIL Foundation
o SAP-related certifications
