Job Summary
Job Posting: Seal of Biliteracy Testing CoordinatorPosition Overview: We are looking for a dedicated School-Based Seal of Biliteracy Coordinator to support the Seal of Biliteracy program at the school level. This role involves recruiting and registering students managing communication and coordinating the logistics of in-school testing. The coordinator will play a crucial role in recognizing students bilingual proficiency by overseeing testing and award Responsibilities:Student Recruitment & Registration:- Recruit students for Seal of Biliteracy testing.- Register students for various testing formats (computer-based paper phone interviews).- Communicate with students about test dates preparation strategies and Coordination & Support:- Maintain a school-based testing list and assist the testing specialist with scheduling and logistics.- Support testing in multiple formats including computer-based paper and phone & Collaboration:- Attend monthly after-school Seal meetings to stay informed and share updates.- Share relevant information and updates with school-based teams.- Distribute seals and certificates of achievement to recognized students on the day of the :- Strong organizational and communication skills.- Ability to work independently and collaborate with school teams.- Comfortable using technology for student registration and and Commitment:- A stipend of $1200 will be provided in two equal installments: the first at the halfway point of the program and the second at the end of May.- Hours must be completed outside of your regular contractual workday.- Requires attendance at in-person meetings at the district administration building.- Position requires annual part of celebrating our students linguistic achievements by supporting the Seal of Biliteracy program at your school!
