Were seeking a Director of Manufacturing to oversee our growing portfolio of in-house cannabis products. This is a high-impact role for an experienced manufacturing professional who thrives on optimizing operations driving continuous improvement and leading talented teams toward ambitious goals.
What Youll Do
As our Director of Manufacturing youll take ownership of the entire production ecosystem - from raw ingredients to packaged product on the shelf. Youll lead a cross-functional team across our Beverage Manufacturing Food & HBC Manufacturing and Packaging facilities ensuring every batch meets our exacting standards and regulatory requirements.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Running the show: Oversee daily production schedules and make sure we hit our targets efficiently and safely.
- Championing quality: Build and refine systems that guarantee every product meets company and compliance standards (OLCC METRC).
- Driving improvement: Optimize processes reduce waste and find smarter faster ways to deliver excellence.
- Managing people and performance: Lead train and inspire production teams to meet high standards - and grow their skills along the way.
- Owning the numbers: Manage budgets forecast production needs analyze performance data and make strategic adjustments that impact the bottom line.
- Keeping it safe and clean: Maintain a facility that meets OSHA food safety and cannabis regulatory standards.
Who You Are
Youre a hands-on leader with deep roots in manufacturing - ideally from the food or beverage world - and you understand what it takes to scale quality production in a regulated environment. You think strategically communicate clearly and stay calm under pressure.
Your background likely includes:
- 8 years in food or beverage manufacturing including at least 3 years in beverage production.
- 5 years managing and developing teams.
- Proven success improving efficiency managing budgets and hitting production goals.
- Strong technical knowledge of QA/QC compliance and equipment maintenance.
- A solid grasp of inventory management systems and production planning tools.
- A degree in Food Science Engineering or a related field - or equivalent real-world experience.
- Familiarity with cannabis production or a genuine interest in learning the industry.
Youre the type who can walk the floor spot inefficiencies and coach your team through solutions - all while keeping an eye on long-term strategy.
