OEM Field Service Engineer

Frequent Onsite Work OEM Field Service Engineer.

Must be within 1 hour commute of Savannah and willing to be onsite.

Job Functions/Purpose

Provides high level visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation support as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses troubleshooting service and training to the customer.

• Serve as the primary support point of contact for all communication with assigned customers manage customer expectations and act as their internal advocate for the design production and oversight of the installation of In-Flight Entertainment and Cabin Management Systems (IFE/CMS) onboard private government and commercial applications.
• Maintain continuous communication with customers and between departments within the organization ensuring both are equally represented.
• Interact with sales engineering production and other members of the cross-functional team to focus on the delivery of new or enhanced products and improve customer satisfaction.
• Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.
• Trains customers on how the system works.
• Frequent travel
• Assists with sustainable engineering by providing feedback on issues and solutions.
• Rotatable on-call AOG support and quick reaction to customer technical needs.
• Assist other areas to maintain product airworthiness and functionality.

Job Requirements

Education/Experience

• Associates degree in computer science or engineering.
• Minimum 3 years field experience

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The salary range specified is applicable to positions within the Washington State and reflects various factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include but are not limited to individual skill sets experience training licensure certifications and the specific needs of our business and organization. At Astronics CSC it is uncommon for new hires to receive an offer at or near the top end of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are made based on the unique facts and circumstances of each candidate. The current estimated yearly salary range for this position is $82430 to $92645 per addition you will be eligible for our Quarterly Incentive compensation bonus.
