Summary Section
As part of the electrical engineering team you will be involved in the design of electrical systems for the oil and gas and/or power including renewable energies industries. This may be a conceptual study or front-end engineering design (FEED) or a design execution involving the procurement of all equipment and detailed drawings for the construction and commissioning of an entire facility.
Responsibilities:
- Shall be able to read understand and implement client specifications / local / international standards
- Shall have good knowledge of electrical equipment like MV/LV Switchgears transformers UPS etc.
- Shall be able to prepare technical specifications and datasheets for electrical items with minimum supervision.
- Shall have good understanding of various electrical layouts and shall be able to guide and check work performed by designers
- Shall be able to understand overall power distribution scheme and SLDs
- Shall be able to prepare load list load calculations cable sizing earthing and lighting calculations including preparation of cable schedules and interconnection diagrams
- Shall be able to understand and prepare basic control schematics
- Shall be able to perform vendor drawing review of Electrical items and mechanical packages
- Shall be aware of and implement relevant HSE aspects while performing assigned tasks
- Working experience in ETAP / SPEL will be an added advantage
- Shall have good written and oral communication skills
- Shall be able to work in multi-cultural environment
Qualifications including Required Education Experience & Skills:
- Shall have a Bachelors Degree (Full Time) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- 8 - 12 years of experience in Oil & Gas / industrial projects
