Job Summary
Description
RPO Recruitments client leading and well-established civil engineering consulting firm based in Cape Town is seeking an experienced and well qualified Professional Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage engineering projects from inception to completion
- Support clients with project planning funding and approvals
- Develop and review civil designs drawings and technical reports
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards
- Supervise design drafting and detailing teams
- Conduct and participate in design reviews and technical audits
- Prepare budgets monitor project finances and control man-hours
- Oversee contract documentation specifications and construction administration
- Manage project documentation reporting and archiving
- Engage in business development tendering and client relations
- Mentor and train junior engineers and technical staff
- Assist with staff resource planning and training programs
- Perform additional duties as required by management
Requirements:
- BSc/BEng/BTech degree in Civil Engineering
- Pr Eng/Pr Tech Eng registration with ECSA
- Minimum 8-12 years experience in the civil engineering field
- Experience in the planning design and contract administration of roads sewerage systems water systems and stormwater systems
- Experience in Contract Administration
- Ability to lead and oversee Technicians Draughting personnel and Engineers
- Proficiency in Civil Designer AutoCAD Civil 3D
