Your Objective

How youll help us achieve it
Day-to-day you will help us generate new revenues by sealing partnerships with Medium to large insurers and insurance brokers in North East or Southern Africa.
You will:
- Develop a Sales territory by conducting outbound sales campaigns aimed at winning business for Curacel
- Build a healthy pipeline of business to reflect the potential for Curacel in the region and work to qualify viable opportunities to close business in the medium term
- Meet or exceed a sales quota for net new business with the targeted customers (insurers or brokers) over the reporting period
- Jointly manage opportunities through the full sales cycle with support from leadership within the organisation
- Serve as the primary point of contact on the ground within your region to coordinate customer engagement on sales activities; discovery demos POCs etc.
- Effectively use CRM tools to manage the entire sales process providing accurate and timely reports on deal statuses
- Channel feedback from the market customers and prospects to the company to enhance our product offering and market position
- Report to the CEO/Head of Sales
Requirements
- Highly disciplined self-motivated - to execute well in a fast-paced environment
- Understands sales process and the need for timely updates
- Goal-getter creative thinker & solution oriented.
- Agile learner with a competitive spirit.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quota preferably in Enterprise Technology Solution Sales.
- Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience selling to FSIs/Enterprise businesses in multiple countries in Sub Saharan Africa.
- Knowledge of sales methodologies and frameworks such as consultative selling MEDDIC etc.
- Excellent persuasive interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
Bonus points if you
- Have SaaS experience
- Have existing network and experience selling to the insurance industry
- Have Business proficiency in Arabic French Swahili
