Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full-Time Pharmacist at our Food Store Pharmacy location in Prince Albert Saskatchewan. Our in-store pharmacy plays a vital role in the health and wellness of our community. We are currently seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our team and help deliver exceptional pharmaceutical care in a friendly customer-focused environment. What You Will Do:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision mission and safety principles to make a difference in members lives with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Partner with our committed community pharmacy team to provide a full range of pharmacy services.
Embrace opportunities to utilize advanced scope of practice.
Ensure patient safety through accurate prescription verification appropriate medication use and effective patient counseling.
Promote quality improvement by identifying and addressing medication errors workflow inefficiencies and opportunities to enhance pharmacy services.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
Provide education to clients and other healthcare professionals.
Prescription processing dispensing verification and required record keeping.
Compound in accordance with NAPRA guidelines.
Exercise professional judgement and practice within federal and provincial legal and regulatory requirements Pharmacist Code of Conduct NAPRA standards of practice and Lake Country Co-op policies.
Provide leadership and guidance to pharmacy technicians and assistants.
Manage inventory ordering and control of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
Adhere to and enforce the Safety Management and Asset Protection systems and training requirements.

Who You Will Work With: Reporting to the Pharmacy Team Leader you will collaborate with a skilled pharmacy team to deliver safe efficient and high-quality patient care. Together you will ensure that every customer receives accurate prescriptions trusted guidance and a positive experience.

Who You Are:
You are looking for a career in a progressive patient-centred Pharmacy and:
You have an accredited Pharmacy Degree with successful completion of Saskatchewan licensing requirements and are in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals.
You have previous Saskatchewan pharmacist experience; Co-operative Retailing System experience is deemed an asset.
You have Saskatchewans advanced method certification and are eager to embrace advanced score of practice.
You are fluent with Kroll Pharmacy Software and thrive on innovation and technology.
You have demonstrated a proven commitment to patient safety accuracy and continuous quality improvement.
You have demonstrable professional competencies coupled with outstanding interpersonal skills.
You possess strong clinical analytical and technical skills are attentive to detail and able to remain calm under pressure.
You are a motivated life-long learner.
You have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.
