The Role: What Youll Do
- Manage geotechnical and geologic projects from proposal through completion with oversight from senior staff.
- Conduct field investigations including drilling logging sampling geologic mapping and construction observation.
- Analyze soil rock and groundwater data to prepare technical evaluations and engineering recommendations.
- Draft clear well-organized reports proposals and correspondence for clients and regulatory agencies.
- Coordinate with engineers architects contractors and public officials to ensure effective project delivery.
- Balance field and office work while developing project management and leadership skills.

What Were Looking For
- A degree in Geology Geological Engineering or Civil Engineering with a geotechnical focus.
- 3-7 years of relevant professional experience in geotechnical or engineering geology consulting.
- Progress toward California professional licensure (GIT EIT PG PE or CEG/GE) is preferred.
- Strong field skills including soil/rock logging geologic mapping and construction observation.
- Solid writing and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Team-oriented mindset curiosity and initiative to take ownership of your work.
