The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities employs over 1900 staff and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products Solutions and Services. Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications including power generation transmission and distribution oil chemical and gas industrial manufacturing semiconductor and data centers as well as building and transportation sectors.

How youll make an impact

1. You will conduct regular quality data analysis (e.g. defect rates customer complaints process variation) to identify quality gaps and improvement opportunities and develop targeted improvement plans.

2.You will initiate and implement quality improvement projects (e.g. Lean Six Sigma DMAIC PDCA) to reduce process variation waste and non-conformance rates.

3. You will track the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives report progress to management and adjust strategies as needed.

4.You will be handling oversea customer quality complaints including receiving feedback conducting RCA 8D report and CPAP follow-up.

5.You will coordinate internal teams to support the audits from customers GPG/BU and third-party agencies.

6.You will work as the leader for APQP drive the APQP implementation in I&C.

7.You will conduct regular audits to assess compliance with quality standards and drive continuous improvement.

8. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background

1.You hold a bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical Electrical Industrial or related field).

2.Required with 2-5 years of experience in quality engineering process improvement or a related role preferably in specific industry e.g. manufacturing healthcare automotive.

3. Proficiency in quality management tools and methodologies: Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred) SPC MSA FMEA and CAPA.

4.Strong data analysis skills with experience using software such as Excel Minitab.

5.Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 9001 IATF 16949).

6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.

7. Fluent in English both spoken and written is mandatory in this position.
