Pennsylvania Steel Company located in Naugatuck CT is seeking a full time permanent Inside Sales Representative to join our Team.

Pennsylvania Steel Company Inc. is a leading distributor of steel and aluminum. We are a veteran and privately owned business with 52 years in the industry.

This is a full time permanent opportunity.

We offer a generous salary and monthly bonus plus benefits.

Position Objective:

To generate revenue for the company through soliciting and obtaining orders understanding & interpreting customer requirements providing information and developing customers.

Position Responsibilities:

Receive and process customers requests for quotes and sales orders via phone fax and email accurately and timely.
Provide customers with all required information upon request.
Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships through outstanding customer service.
Work with team-members to provide support as required.
Follow all aspects of the Companys quality system and assist with the development of the system as required.
Adhere to all company policies procedures and company values.
Other duties as required.

Experience and Skills:

Requirements:

Familiarity with the metals industry and its products.
Strong computer skills.
Strong mathematical skills.
Good attention to detail.
Strong customer service skills.
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
