Job Summary
Clift Buick GMC is seeking a motivatedAuto Body Apprentice / Body Shop Porter to join our award-winning collision repair team. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to build a career in the automotive collision industry while working alongside certified auto body and paint technicians.
Auto Body Shop Apprentice / Porter
Responsibilities
- Assist in moving vehicles into and out of the body shop and paint booths
- Wash detail and prepare vehicles for delivery to customers
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop paint areas and equipment
- Support body and paint technicians with tasks such as disassembly masking sanding and part preparation
- Inspect completed repairs and assist in quality control processes
- Deliver parts and materials between departments as needed
- Ensure all vehicles are properly tagged and parked in designated areas
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support daily operations of the collision center.
Qualifications
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous experience in automotive service detailing or collision repair a plus but not required
- Must pass physical and background check
