Responsibilities
- Determine and repair damaged parts
- Communicate status of repairs clearly to Body Shop Manager
- Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts
- Document all repairs performed
- Document all materials used
- Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
- Follow all company safety procedures
- Understand and follow federal state and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous waste
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience as an auto body technician required
- Proficiency with a frame machine
- I-car experience is a plus
- Ability to work both independently and as a team in order to ensure the job is done correctly
- Ability to lift heavy parts tools or other equipment
- Valid Drivers license is required
