Job Summary
Were seeking a driven and strategic Vice President of Finance to join one of Floridas Best Places to Worka high-growth FinTech company in Miami known for its innovative culture and commitment to its people.
This is a hands-on growth-oriented leadership role for a finance professional who is hungry to drive performance elevate financial strategy and help take the company to its next stage of expansion. The position offers a clear path to Chief Financial Officer within 1218 months making it an exceptional opportunity for a rising finance leader ready to make a significant impact.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the companys financial strategy in alignment with long-term business objectives
- Oversee and optimize treasury operations to ensure strong liquidity management and effective risk mitigation
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes driving accuracy discipline and accountability across the organization
- Ensure timely accurate financial reporting and maintain robust compliance and internal control frameworks
- Partner with executive leadership to deliver actionable financial insights that support strategic decisions
- Design and implement scalable financial systems tools and processes to enable growth and operational excellence
- Monitor and analyze key financial metrics identifying trends and opportunities to enhance business performance
- Manage relationships with investors financial institutions auditors and other key external stakeholders
- Build mentor and lead a high-performing finance team that embodies accountability and drives results
- Demonstrate strategic leadership and financial acumen to position for a future transition into the CFO role
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in finance or accounting
- Professional certification (CPA CFA) is strongly preferred
- 10 - 15 years of finance leadership within the FinTech or financial services sector
- Treasury management and financial risk management experience
- Develop and execute financial strategies that drive growth and profitability
- Knowledge of financial regulations compliance standards and industry best practices
- Must be in the office Monday thru Friday
