Position Summary:
The Director of Pediatrics is responsible for providing strategic operational and clinical leadership for pediatric acute care services ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient- and family-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead pediatric unit operations staffing strategy and care delivery standards
Partner with physicians nursing teams and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
Ensure compliance with regulatory accreditation and patient safety standards
Oversee department budgets performance metrics and quality improvement initiatives
Champion family-centered care models and elevate patient experience outcomes
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in pediatric acute care
Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred
