Starting at: $14.00/hr

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm (schedule subject to change in busy Season).

Position Summary:

Assembles boxes to fulfill the needs of the production department.

Essential Functions:

Assembles boxes to the specifications required by each department.
Assists with the inventory control of the box materials.
Maintains a clean neat and safe work area including disposal of packaging and cartons sweeping storage of extra material and clean up of supplies.
May serve as a backup for positions within the production department and as temporary help in a variety of departments.
May be responsible for ordering boxes and packing materials.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

Able to follow directions standard procedures and respond to instructions
Able to solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.
Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells alarms and horns that are used to warn employees of the start-up movement or approach of equipment (including forklifts turrets overhead cranes conveyors trucks and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse) mechanical abnormalities and similar risk situations during warehouse operations.
Able to work independently and within a team environment
Must be able to operate powered industrial vehicle (PIV) and other various types of equipment

Computer
Pallet Jack (manual)
Forklift
