What are we looking for
This position is for candidates who are eager to build their careers in the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) domain. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about understanding how systems work have basic coding or scripting knowledge and are enthusiastic about cloud-native technologies.
Hands-on experience or academic exposure toKubernetes containers or cloud platformswill be an added advantage. You should be comfortable learning through documentation experimenting with tools and solving problems logically.
Knowledge or curiosity about the following areas is a plus:
- Deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters (on GKE RKE or similar platforms).
- Understanding CI/CD pipelines used for Kubernetes deployments.
- Familiarity with distributed storage likeRook-Ceph.
- Basics of monitoring and observability tools such asPrometheusGrafana and theELK stack.
- Good grasp ofLinux operating systemsand basic troubleshooting skills.
- Awareness ofcloud environments(AWS Azure GCP) andsecurity best practicesin production systems.
Youll be mentored by experienced engineers who will guide you through real-world problem-solving performance tuning and system reliability practices.
What you will be learning and doing
- Work with customers and internal teams exploring cloud-native technologies such asKubernetes Prometheus Service Mesh and public or on-premise infrastructure.
- Understand how to build operate and maintain scalable and reliable systems.
- Learn to design and automate infrastructure using modern DevOps practices.
- Explore open-source projects understand their capabilities and limitations and apply the right tools for each problem.
- Participate in troubleshooting debugging and optimizing systems for reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with mentors and senior engineers to solve problems through automation and innovative solutions.
- Contribute to internal documentation learning materials and share knowledge within the team.
