Responsibilities include:

1. Convene and facilitate annual Leadership team meeting on Retired/Retiringfacultyissues

2. Work withFacultyDevelopment to plan and host events that provide welcoming spaces of support and networking forfacultymoving toward or in retirement. (See here for details on reserving campus spaces and ordering food on/off campus.)

• Fall and Winter Retired and Retiring WomenFacultyLunches

• Annual or Biannual RetiredFacultyEvent/s

• As needed in response to interest: convene reading or other smaller groups of retiredfaculty

3. Work withFacultyDevelopment to clarify and enrich communication of events information and resources concerningfacultyretirement.

• Website: recommend updates and changes

• Occasional email announcements or quarterly newsletter

4. Serve as a general resource for retired and retiringfaculty offering support and information in collaboration withFacultyDevelopment and Provosts office as needed.

5. Participate in quarterly check-ins withFacultyDevelopment consulting onfacultyretirement issues.
