As an intern in our Product Development Department you will be given specific projects to complete throughout the summer within your department and the results of your projects will have a direct impact on our company. Heres a sample of some of the recent projects our interns have worked on:
Creation of Hard Goods materials library/ Refinement of existing Soft Goods material libraries
PLM system remediation (Hard Goods specific)
Parter with the lab on special projects
Exposure to the Product Development process for both Soft Goods/ Hard Goods categories
Key Responsibilities:
Attend relevant meetings that will drive work
Work with various cross-functional partners on key projects
Systems work to support Product Development functions
Qualifications:
Must be currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university degree program; Strong preference will be given to rising Juniors Seniors and graduating Seniors
Passion for retail combined with a strong desire to represent the L. brand
Strong analytical research and demonstrated leadership skills
Flexibility and willingness to work where needed during the internship experience
Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing data and presenting findings Excel and PowerPoint
Curiosity grit and a growth mindset
Health and Safety Requirement: Ensures compliance with the L. comprehensive Health and Safety program by knowing and following all safety guidelines policies procedures and expectations. Takes immediate and appropriate action to rectify any unsafe conditions.
