Food Service Program Manager

Dallas School District No. 2 is accepting applications for afull-time year round Food Service Program Manager.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree and two years of relevant school nutrition program experience OR high school diploma (or GED) and at least 10 years of school nutrition program experience.
• Ability to maintain appropriate certifications and training hours as required to meet USDA required Child Nutrition Programs Professional Standars for School Nutrition Managers.
• General knowledge of computer usage and ability to use to enter data into computer for tracking of lunches and orders ability to use email.
• Must have possession of or ability to obtain a valid Oregon Driver License CPR/First Aid certificate and Oregon Food Handler card.
• Ability to appropriately communicate with students teachers parents and members of the community. Ability to exercise good judgement and work in an environment with frequent interruptions.
• Monitors and implements standardization for the districts meal service operation.
• Maintains current program information on the district website.
• Provides training to employees for the purpose of helping them to achieve success and meet the needs of the child nutrition program.
• Manages the transport of food and supplies to all district locations.
