Senior Nursery Practitioner Up to.5 Hours per week all year round

Set within acres of private woodland this nursery is a truly special place where children are encouraged to learn through exploration play and connection. With a nurturing child-led approach and a passionate team it offers an environment where both children and practitioners can thrive.

We are now looking for an experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner to join our clients nursery on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident knowledgeable early years professional ready to take on more responsibility supporting the Room Leader mentoring colleagues and ensuring high-quality practice across the room.

What Were Looking For:

Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years or equivalent (essential)
Significant experience in a nursery or early years setting
Sound understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
Proven ability to lead support and inspire a team
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A nurturing reflective and proactive approach to practice
Passion for outdoor learning and nature-based play

Key Responsibilities:

Support and guide practitioners in delivering high-quality child-led learning experiences
Take an active role in planning observing and assessing childrens development
Foster strong positive relationships with children families and the wider team
Ensure a safe stimulating and inclusive environment at all times
Assist the Room Leader in maintaining high standards of care and practice
Model and promote best practice in line with EYFS and safeguarding policies
Contribute to continuous improvement and reflective practice across the setting
