Senior Nursery Practitioner Up to.5 Hours per week all year round
Set within acres of private woodland this nursery is a truly special place where children are encouraged to learn through exploration play and connection. With a nurturing child-led approach and a passionate team it offers an environment where both children and practitioners can thrive.
We are now looking for an experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner to join our clients nursery on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident knowledgeable early years professional ready to take on more responsibility supporting the Room Leader mentoring colleagues and ensuring high-quality practice across the room.
What Were Looking For:
- Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years or equivalent (essential)
- Significant experience in a nursery or early years setting
- Sound understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
- Proven ability to lead support and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A nurturing reflective and proactive approach to practice
- Passion for outdoor learning and nature-based play

Key Responsibilities:
- Support and guide practitioners in delivering high-quality child-led learning experiences
- Take an active role in planning observing and assessing childrens development
- Foster strong positive relationships with children families and the wider team
- Ensure a safe stimulating and inclusive environment at all times
- Assist the Room Leader in maintaining high standards of care and practice
- Model and promote best practice in line with EYFS and safeguarding policies
- Contribute to continuous improvement and reflective practice across the setting
