Senior Nursery Practitioner Up to.5 Hours per week all year round

Set within acres of private woodland this nursery is a truly special place where children are encouraged to learn through exploration play and connection. With a nurturing child-led approach and a passionate team it offers an environment where both children and practitioners can thrive.

We are now looking for an experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner to join our clients nursery on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident knowledgeable early years professional ready to take on more responsibility supporting the Room Leader mentoring colleagues and ensuring high-quality practice across the room.

What Were Looking For:

  • Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years or equivalent (essential)
  • Significant experience in a nursery or early years setting
  • Sound understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
  • Proven ability to lead support and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A nurturing reflective and proactive approach to practice
  • Passion for outdoor learning and nature-based play

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and guide practitioners in delivering high-quality child-led learning experiences
  • Take an active role in planning observing and assessing childrens development
  • Foster strong positive relationships with children families and the wider team
  • Ensure a safe stimulating and inclusive environment at all times
  • Assist the Room Leader in maintaining high standards of care and practice
  • Model and promote best practice in line with EYFS and safeguarding policies
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and reflective practice across the setting
