The District reserves the right to change this vacancy or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes enrollment or : Adult Education Program Coordinator Chelmsford Community Education Program (Exempt) JOB GOAL:To supervise the operation of the Community Education Programs (with the exception of the childcare programs). These programs include (but are not limited to) evening and daytime enrichment and academic activities for all ages including sports music lessons trips shows and online TO: Director of Community EducationPERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: in planning and coordinating all operational facets of the CommEd programs (excluding childcare). diversified administrative duties to assist the Director and Assistant Director of Community Education with the overall functions of the varied CommEd with supervisors to ensure efficient operation of their programs and visit sites on a routine basis to ensure smooth with interviewing hiring and processing of program staff and maintain all required documents for employees and for managing the software for all Community Education online registration for all Community Education Programs and meet all enrollment for creating and providing reports to each site as need to work a flexible schedule on occasion to attend staff meetings manage issues visit night to be on call for emergencies that may occur at any program after normal work advertisement and marketing strategies for the organization to meet enrollment all social media and and ensure each programs budget remains on supply and equipment inventory coordinate ordering and distribution of supplies and for processing registration forms and related use of appropriate spaces for activities including school classrooms and Town and implement online course evaluations for data for review of the Director of Community upon own discretion in the absence of the Director and Assistant Director in matters not covered by school new ideas and programs to increase opportunities for the other related duties as assigned by the Director of Community AND ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARDS:-Fast-paced office environment.-Regular interruptions to assist customers.-Some travel by personal automobile to program sites.-Occasional periods of supervising or inspecting various buildings parks recreational fields and OF EMPLOYMENT:Full-time full-year position with benefits as outlined for Community Education Exempt NOTE:Scheduling of vacation and personal days will be determined by start dates of various RANGE:$53000- $56500 annuallyEVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in writing by the Director of Community Education in accordance with the School Committees Policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel and will be discussed with the incumbent. A copy will be filed in the Personnel Office.
