THE POSITION: STACK is seeking a Controls Project Manager to lead a critical initiative supporting our data center facilities. This role will oversee all building automation and controls-related aspects of the project including design implementation and commissioning while ensuring alignment with STACKs fleet-wide standards for quality.
The Manager Building Automation and Controls will work closely with engineering design and construction teams to deliver a state-of-the-art facility that meets STACKs operational reliability and efficiency standards. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a high-impact project from preconstruction through delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead project management of building automation and controls for a new data center from early design through commissioning and handover.
- Attend design meetings reviewing contract drawing packages collaborating with OFCI vendors on controls related items.
- Own and maintain project specifications ensuring consistency and scalability across the new campus.
- Oversee project execution ensuring that schedules budgets and performance standards are met.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for building automation and controls throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive commissioning and validation processes ensuring controls systems operate to design intent prior to facility launch.
THE DETAILS: - Location: Can sit remote with 30-40% travel to Data Center sites.
- Travel: 30%
- Compensation: $ 165000 to $175000 USD with 10% annual bonus potential

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS: - 5 years of project management experience in controls systems building automation or MEP systems with proven ability to lead large-scale complex projects through all phases of delivery.
- Strong technical understanding of controls design installation and integration.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with a collaborative approach
- Experience with data center or mission-critical facility controls.
- Experience in developing and maintaining enterprise-level specifications across multiple projects or sites
- Ignition Certification or experience preferred
