The Bilingual Remarketing Coordinator is a key member of the Remarketing & Used Vehicle Operations (UVO) team at Honda Financial Services (HFS). This role is responsible for overseeing managing and reporting on vehicle inventory portfolios to ensure units are prepared and positioned for auction to align with organizational & departmental objectives and KPIs.
The role will include assignments related to UVO to promote collaboration and active engagement across both the Remarketing and UVO departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and report on all multi-line vehicle portfolios ensuring units are prepared and eligible for auction.
Coordinate the transportation of Remarketing inventory to auctions dealers vendors or designated facilities.
Verify completion of all outstanding warranty recalls product updates and necessary diagnostics prior to auction for applicable vehicles.
Assess vehicles for potential repairs obtain cost estimates and provide informed recommendations.
Investigate and resolve issues that may prevent vehicles from being listed for auction including missing documentation or incomplete information and take appropriate corrective actions to ensure timely posting
Generate and maintain weekly reports detailing current sales status for departmental review.
Ensure timely completion of all post-sale transactions.
Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from stakeholders leveraging knowledge of departmental policies and procedures
Actively participate in cross-functional projects and take on additional responsibilities as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum College Diploma is required
1 plus years experience in the automotive field required
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint.
Bilingual French-English is required.
High level of interpersonal skills to effectively work with others ability to build collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Ability to analyze situations and make effective decisions.
Must entail excellent planning analytical strategic organization and problem-solving skills.
Strong operational management skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to prepare reports analyze results draw conclusions and make recommendations to management to enhance efficiency.
Ability to display leadership initiative integrity and strong attention to accuracy and detail.
Develops and maintains good working relationships and all members of the team.
Develops and maintains good working relationships within Honda North America as well as all other internal and external stakeholders.
Develop establish and maintain good working relationship with Honda North America suppliers partners consultants stakeholders and other network contacts.
Enjoys team building approach of management and department - shares results.
As this position aims to support clients and dealers nationwide we will need bilingual candidates.
