Position Overview:
The Senior Business Analyst acts as a proactive partner to capture business needs translate them into actionable requirements and drive improvements in client servicing and operational efficiency. Success in this role requires fast adaptation stakeholder trust-building and alignment of business and technical perspectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering & Documentation
- Understand business goals challenges and needs through collaboration.
- Salesforce Testing experience and Product Management
- Private Equity
- Conduct structured elicitation (interviews workshops shadowing).
- Convert findings into user stories process flows and specifications.
Coordination and Collaboration
- Manage dependencies and unblock delivery with teams.
- Ensure cross-functional alignment to avoid scope issues.
Technical Collaboration
- Work with product managers developers QA and architects.
- Design and validate solutions aligning with business goals.
- Support integration data mapping and workflow initiatives.
Project Delivery Support
- Engage in Agile or traditional project ceremonies.
- Track progress manage change and resolve roadblocks.
- Act as a key point of contact during the SDLC.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Define acceptance criteria and support UAT.
- Validate solutions meet requirements and business value.
- Confirm results align with back-testing criteria.
Stakeholder Communication
- Bridge communication between business and technical teams.
- Deliver reports walkthroughs and presentations.
- Ensure technology aligns with business strategy.
Process Improvement
- Analyze and improve business processes and automation opportunities.
- Identify workflow friction and suggest improvements.
Experience Required:
- 7 years in a BA role in tech/software development; finance industry experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proven expertise in requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
- Fast adaptability and collaboration skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Effective communication with all stakeholder levels.
- Familiar with SQL and data analysis tools.
- Skilled in Jira and Confluence.
Education:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Engineering (Software Electrical etc.)
