Accounting and amp; Finance Manager
Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid - 2 days/week in office typically Tuesday and amp; Thursday)

Reports To: Director of Accounting
Team Size: 4 total (Director this role 2 junior accountants 1 additional team member)
Compensation: $90000 - $100000 base discretionary bonus
Vacation: 3 weeks
Benefits: Basic health/dental CPA fees covered no RRSP match
Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Mon-Fri) Half-day Fridays during summer
Start Date: Late November (December training before audit season)

About the Role
As Accounting and amp; Finance Manager youll play a key role in leading day-to-day financial operations mentoring two junior staff and ensuring accurate reporting across multiple entities.
Youll work closely with the Director of Accounting and senior leadership on financial statements investor reports audits and cash management.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA ready to take a step up from a Senior Accountant or Supervisor role into a broader management position with strong work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and investor reports
- Manage and mentor two junior accounting staff
- Oversee cash management and daily cashflow projections
- Administer and report on debt facilities (extensions draws repayments)
- Coordinate annual audits for multiple entities
- Ensure compliance reporting and reconciliations are accurate and timely
- Support the Director of Accounting on special projects and process improvements
What You Bring
- CPA designation (required)
- 57 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Strong Excel skills and solid analytical ability
- Experience in financial services fund accounting or credit/debt facility management (preferred)
- Basic familiarity with Sage (asset not required)
- Proven ability to manage competing deadlines and deliver high-quality results
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior staff
- Professional process-oriented and reliable communicator who thrives in a collaborative culture
