Meaningful work youll be part of

  • Lead client engagements focused on enterprise risk operational resilience third-party risk and emerging areas such as GenAI and technology risk

  • Design and implement innovative risk management frameworks that align with regulatory expectations and business strategy

  • Guide cross-functional teams in delivering high-impact solutions leveraging advanced technologies and data-driven insights

  • Cultivate trusted relationships with senior stakeholders acting as a strategic advisor and thought leader

  • Drive business development through proposal leadership market positioning and participation in industry forums

  • Mentor and develop team members fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning

  • Leverage risk and regulatory knowledge and a broad advisory skillset to develop and enhance client deliverables across financial and non-financial risk dimensions including enterprise risk credit risk operational resilience third-party risk compliance risk and others ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory expectations

  • Facilitate client workshops and collaborative sessions applying strong industry insight business acumen and critical thinking to structure and communicate complex regulatory and risk concepts clearly and effectively

  • Envolved in business development efforts by contributing to proposal writing marketing initiatives and thought leadership that elevate PwCs profile and demonstrate our expertise in risk and regulatory advisory

  • Enhance PwCs leadership position in Risk and Regulatory Advisory through active participation in industry forums client presentations and the publication of insightful research and viewpoints

  • Proven experience from consulting industry or regulatory roles with strong knowledge of regulatory requirements across non-financial or financial risks (e.g. credit risk operational risk operational resilience third party risk management regulatory compliance enterprise risk management etc.)

  • Excellent report writing and stakeholder engagement skills with demonstrated experience managing senior-level client relationships and collaborating effectively within diverse project teams

Experiences and skills youll use to solve

As a Financial Services Risk and Regulatory Advisory Senior Manager youll work as part of a team of problem solvers helping to solve business issues deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Experience in financial services risk and regulatory advisory consulting regulatory bodies or industry roles across sectors such as banking insurance asset management private equity or financial crown corporations

  • Deep expertise in regulatory requirements related to financial and non-financial risk management (credit risk operational risk operational resilience third-party risk compliance enterprise risk management)

  • Proven track record managing and delivering complex client engagements involving senior executive stakeholders with strong business acumen and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to critically assess client risk landscapes identify mitigation opportunities and craft innovative customized solutions aligned with regulatory frameworks and strategic business goals

  • Strong leadership and team management experience guiding diverse teams to deliver excellent outcomes while fostering professional growth

  • Advanced communication and reporting skills with the ability to convey complex regulatory and risk concepts clearly to varied audiences

  • Experience driving business development activities managing proposals and enhancing client relationships

  • Comfort with emerging technologies and data analytics tools applied to risk and regulatory challenges including Generative AI and resilience platforms

  • Commitment to continuous professional learning to remain at the forefront of regulatory developments and industry best practices

This position ensures continuity and upholds our standards of excellence following the departure of a valued team member.

The salary range for this position is $147300 - $197300.The posted salary rangerepresentsthe expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada base salary isdeterminedby your skills experiencequalificationsand work addition to base salary eligible employees may have opportunities toparticipatein variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.Weare committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
