Job Summary

Insurance Licensing Coordinator Remote

Support onboarding and compliance in the insurance industry with a remote role focused on U.S. licensing operations. This contract opportunity offers cross-functional collaboration exposure to strategic initiatives and a fast-paced environment. Ideal for professionals with experience in audit licensing or compliance.

What is in it for you:

Hourly salary of $21.88.
12-month contract (maternity leave coverage).
Full-time position: 37.5 hours per week.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST).
Location: Fully remote.

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Resolve licensing issues for new agents agencies and broker-dealers.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
Analyze licensing data to generate actionable insights and identify trends.
Recommend and implement process improvements.
Ensure all licensing activities are compliant with applicable U.S. state and federal regulations.
Liaise with carriers and regulatory bodies to resolve discrepancies.
Support digitization and automation of licensing and onboarding workflows.
Participate in user acceptance testing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Stay informed about regulatory and industry changes.
Deliver high-quality customer service and resolve inquiries in a timely manner.

What you will need to succeed:

Post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience.
Industry certifications such as LOMA or ALMI preferred.
Experience in audit compliance or market conduct examinations.
Familiarity with U.S. state insurance department requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Technical aptitude including experience with licensing platforms such as Salesforce.
Current knowledge of industry-specific regulations is an asset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
