Job Summary
MDX Global and its sister company are seeking an on-site Human Resources Manager who will oversee all HR functions including recruitment employee relations benefits administration compliance and professional development. This role requires a hands-on proactive leader who can balance strategic planning with day-to-day HR operations addressing employee needs while also educating and empowering staff on topics such as benefits and workplace expectations.
The HR Manager will also play a critical role in training and coaching both organizational leaders and staff ensuring alignment with company values compliance standards and performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Staffing: Manage the hiring process including job postings candidate screenings interviews and onboarding. May also be responsible for completing payroll for staff.
- Employee Relations: Act as a liaison between staff and administration addressing workplace concerns and fostering a positive inclusive and communicative environment.
- Proactive Employee Education: Take initiative to educate employees on HR topics such as benefits performance evaluations leave policies and career development to promote understanding and engagement.
- Training & Leadership Coaching: Provide ongoing training guidance and mentorship to the HR team and department leaders to strengthen their people management skills communication and accountability.
- HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal state and local labor laws policies and industry best practices.
- Payroll & Benefits: Oversee payroll processing and administer employee benefits including health insurance retirement plans and leave policies.
- Performance Management: Develop and implement performance evaluation systems assist with goal-setting and provide coaching and feedback to improve individual and team outcomes.
- HR Policies & Procedures: Develop update and enforce HR policies handbooks and best practices to support a consistent and equitable work environment.
- Safety & Risk Management: Support workplace safety initiatives and ensure proper handling of employee concerns and grievances.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field (Masters preferred).
3 years of HR management experience preferably in an educational nonprofit or multi-site setting.
Demonstrated ability to train and coach managers and staff across multiple levels of an organization.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Experience with HR software and payroll systems.
Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
SHRM-CP SHRM-SCP or PHR certification preferred.
