What youll do:

On our mission to improve developer experience at SAP we are looking for somebody like you. We will provide integrated product management solutions to SAP Engineering targeting 3500 product managers at SAP. The product management solution will support the harmonized product operating model in SAP Engineering comprising all stages from Feedback to Delivery.

As Development Expert you will be part of the Hyperspace Product Management Solutions team in Sofia with a further location in Walldorf. The team will work with experts from SAP Engineering around the world including product managers UX designers and architects.

Engineering is for humans not for machines we are looking for team players with excellent communication skills who can drill into complex technical challenges and explain them to nontechnical stakeholders in a crisp accessible way.

We believe that in an agile team good design and architecture are shared responsibilities. As a Development Expert you are a trusted partner to your product owner in finding the fastest path to business outcomes. You will also take on concrete programming tasks yourself.

• You will represent technical leadership for the Sofia location and collaborate closely with colleagues in Walldorf.
• You will design and implement components of an integration solution orchestrating the flow from feedback to delivery including master data external 3rdparty solutions and SAP Business Data Cloud.
• You will be involved in all phases of the development lifecycle from idea generation through development to operations and support.
• You will support onboarding of solution areas in SAP Engineering to a new 3rdparty product management solution including technical impact analysis and data migration.
• You will help onboard various product feedback channels and bring them into a central stream for product managers.
• You will define concepts conduct technical evaluations and provide effort estimations.
• You will collaborate with a fun supportive and talented team.

What you bring:

• Masters degree in computer science or comparable qualification in a related field.
• 7 years of developer experience preferably fullstack development.
• Proven programming skills in either JavaScript/TypeScript SQL.
• Advanced experience with SAP HANA Cloud CAP and SAP UI5.
• Experience with hyperscalers (AWS Azure GCP).
• Experience with reactive programming is beneficial.
• Team player with clear written and spoken communication.
• Quality mindset and the ability to follow quality standards.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Very good English written and spoken.
