Job Summary: The Service Advisor function is to use his/her strengths in selling of parts and labor for retail customers for the internal movement of vehicles for the verification of work performed on repairs and for the pursuit of excellence with respect to good customer relations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Model and uphold Anderson Auto Groups Core Values.
Serve as a positive role model and/or teammate.
Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants and/or needs.
Describe merchandise and explain use operation and care of merchandise to customer.
Recommend select and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
Compute sales prices total purchases and receive and process cash or credit payment.
Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions policies regarding payment and exchanges and security practices.
Handle customer complaints immediately and according to the dealerships guidelines alongside the Service Manager.
Communicate the needs as diagnosed and estimated by service technicians in a precise clearcut and accurate manner.
Receive and welcome customers in a timely courteous and professional manner.
Demonstrate use or operation of merchandise.
Maintain a complete understanding of the different types of warranties that customers may own.
Maintain current training on safety for role. Maintain certification and training for necessary programs.
