DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for capacity manpower planning space utilization and layout and improvement commit and execution follow up
- Lead and manage IE team and engineering to drive for improvement and consolidate the data
Education & Experience
- A bachelors degree in industrial engineering or mechanical engineering or its equivalents with at least xx years of relevant work experience in Industrial Engineering or Lean Manufacturing (functional skills)
- 5-10 years experience in a high volume manufacturing environment
Skills
- Leadership capabilities to manage a virtual team or physical team
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving
- Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
- AutoCAD knowledge MTM or other work measurement methods
- Lead tools and VSM
- Good with presentation skills and preparation
Working Conditions
- This role is 100% onsite but sometime need to cover offsite issues
- Perform & maintain Capacity Planning vs Forecast/Build Plan Published from Planning
- Define Product Matrix for Fixtures & Test boards for Capacity planning
- Update & Maintain Products Routings for Capacity Planning
- Update Capacity Planning spreadsheet/modeling with the latest Yield assumptions Routings UPH machine qty fixtures etc
- Establish and maintain time standards for plant processes
- Maintain Productivity model - HPU purpose & headcount planning
- Develop/maintain model for capacity planning incorporating both equipment and labor variables.
- Ensuring check & balance between forecast requirement vs factory Installed capacity
- Verify MOST UPH vs Production UPH; get production & engineering approvals
- Layout planning: line & offices set up activities to support ramp or process changes; newcomers & current
- Participate in/assist to execute productivity improvement and costs savings projects.
Perform any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time. - To stay up to date on latest developments and trends in Industrial Engineering
- Do whatever it takes to meet or exceed our customers expectation in compliance with the Quality Policy
- Ensure compliance to Safety ESD Cleanroom and Housekeeping guidelines.
