Job Summary
As a Multi-modal Data Curator you will play a crucial role in the development and refinement of datasets for machine learning models. Your exceptional attention to detail and outstanding written English skills will be essential for generating high-quality accurate and consistent captions for large and complex datasets. Working closely with a team of AI experts you will contribute directly to the performance and reliability of our AI systems engaging in feedback loops to enhance model capabilities. Core Responsibilities
- Generate accurate and descriptive captions: Produce precise high-quality captions for a variety of data types such as images videos and text following project guidelines.
- Maintain strict quality standards: Apply meticulous attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and consistency of all annotations.
- Master and adhere to guidelines: Follow protocols precisely and consistently. Be adaptable to changes in guidelines as a project progresses.
- Ensure data integrity: Validate and refine existing captions as needed identifying and correcting any discrepancies to maintain the integrity of the dataset.
- Communicate effectively: Collaborate with team members quality assurance specialists and project managers to clarify guidelines report potential data issues and provide feedback on the annotation process.
- Meet project deadlines: Manage workload effectively to complete large batches of annotation tasks within established timeframes without compromising accuracy.
- Leverage annotation tools: Become proficient in specialized software and platforms used to perform the annotation tasks efficiently.
- Adapt to diverse content: Apply excellent written English skills including a strong command of grammar punctuation and vocabulary to accurately describe a wide range of subject matter.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong command of the English language: Excellent proficiency in written English including outstanding grammar spelling and punctuation to ensure accurate and high-quality captions.
- Meticulous attention to detail: The ability to focus intently on repetitive tasks while maintaining high accuracy and consistency is crucial.
- Ability to follow guidelines precisely: Strong comprehension skills and the discipline to adhere to complex and detailed annotation protocols and instructions.
- Computer literacy: Proficiency in basic computer operations and experience with web-based interfaces and software applications.
- Self-motivation and reliability: The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and be reliable in delivering high-quality work consistently.
Nice to Have
- Experience in data annotation or labeling: Previous experience in data entry transcription or annotation is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with annotation software: Prior experience using specialized annotation platforms
- Proofreading and editing: Prior experience in proofreading or editing documents indicates a strong aptitude for spotting and correcting errors.
