Location: Lloydminster AB

Type: 3-Month Temporary (Potential to Become Permanent)


Are you an organized detail-oriented professional looking to grow your career in finance and administration We are seeking a Finance Administrative Assistant to join a dynamic and growth-focused organization in the oilfield industry. This position offers a great opportunity to gain valuable experience with the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records including invoices receipts and expense reports
  • Enter financial data into QuickBooks and spreadsheets
  • Assist with Accounts Payable/Receivables including invoice processing payments and collections
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team scheduling correspondence and file management
  • Assist with payroll processing
  • Data analysis
  • Perform additional duties as required to support team success


Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in Accounting or Business Administration is an asset)
  • 23 years of experience in a financial or administrative support role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Experience with Payroll ADP OpenInvoice or JobUTrax is an asset
  • Experience with Core or any equivalent Project Management/Costing system
  • Strong attention to detail accuracy and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Professional dependable and eager to learn
