Finance Administrative Assistant
Location: Lloydminster AB Type: 3-Month Temporary (Potential to Become Permanent)
Are you an organized detail-oriented professional looking to grow your career in finance and administration We are seeking a Finance Administrative Assistant to join a dynamic and growth-focused organization in the oilfield industry. This position offers a great opportunity to gain valuable experience with the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right individual.
What We Offer - Competitive hourly wage: $24 $26/hr
- Flexible hours (general schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 a.m.5:00 p.m.)
- 2 weeks vacation after probation
- Comprehensive benefits package after probation
- A professional and supportive work environment focused on excellence and development
Key Responsibilities - Maintain accurate financial records including invoices receipts and expense reports
- Enter financial data into QuickBooks and spreadsheets
- Assist with Accounts Payable/Receivables including invoice processing payments and collections
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team scheduling correspondence and file management
- Assist with payroll processing
- Data analysis
- Perform additional duties as required to support team success
Qualifications & Skills - High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in Accounting or Business Administration is an asset)
- 23 years of experience in a financial or administrative support role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook)
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks
- Experience with Payroll ADP OpenInvoice or JobUTrax is an asset
- Experience with Core or any equivalent Project Management/Costing system
- Strong attention to detail accuracy and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Professional dependable and eager to learn
