Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in Laredo United States. As a Delivery Driver based at 4301 San Bernardo Ave you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our valued customers.
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers in Laredo and surrounding areas
- Load and unload packages ensuring proper handling and organization
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries mileage and fuel consumption
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Provide excellent customer service addressing inquiries and resolving concerns
- Adhere to all traffic laws safety regulations and company policies
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned by management
Applicant Must provide own vehicle.
Qualifications :
- Valid drivers license with 2 year driving exp if 18 1 if 19 with a clean driving record
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift and handle packages of varying weights
- Proficiency in using GPS and navigation tools
- Familiarity with Laredo area roads and traffic patterns
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is a plus
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as needed
