The Control Room Administrator will be part of a team that monitors the motorway network responding to incidents and being part of a communications hub for all stakeholders. The Motorway Operations Control Centre actively monitors the national motorway network through a wide range of CCTV systems as well as traffic management and incident response systems.
The role includes responsibility for administrative duties for the Motorway Operations Control Centre. This includes but is not limited to minor accident and incident responses for the National Road Network and call handling from our state-of-the-art control centre in Dublin City Centre.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handling communication from members of the public and responding in a professional manner.
- Handling inbound calls and processing all information received to distribute to relevant stakeholders.
- Professional communication including the use of social media updating relevant websites and managing the Twitter account.
- Using multiple internal systems to log and track incidents.
Qualifications :
- 1-2 years call centre/sales/customer service experience.
- 1-2 years administration experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook (essential).
- Leaving Certificate.
