About the Opportunity

Were looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Debt Collection Officer to join our Revenue Team. The role will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of debt recovery processes across Councils revenue streams - from rates and charges to sundry debts. Youll engage directly with residents businesses and internal stakeholders to resolve outstanding accounts respectfully and effectively.

This role is a permanent part-time (0.6 FTE 45.60 hours per fortnight) opportunity. Remuneration begins at $76.4K to $87.1K (Band 5) pro-rata for part timeplus superannuation.

About You

You will have experience with debt collection and revenue management with strong communication and negotiation skills and posses a sound understanding of relevant legislation policies and debt recovery practices. Youll need a high attention to detail and bring with you a positive attitude and commitment to supporting the community.
