Summary:
Directs the departments activities and resources to ensure alignment with the mission values and objectives of the department and organization as it relates to the Medical Staff privileging and credentialing activities.Responsibilities:
Develops and implements departmental goals plans and standards consistent with the administrative legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization. Ensures compliance with applicable federal and state laws accreditation standards medical staff bylaws rules and regulations as well as departmental policies and staff operations business planning and budget development. Updates policies and procedures. Oversees adherence to and monitors Medical Affairs staffing activities including hiring orienting evaluating and disciplinary administrative support to hospital administration and other departments as it relates to Medical Affairs and Credentialing.Competencies:

The incumbent must be able to lead others and take appropriate action when Work Experience: Three (3) years of medical staff/credentialing or experience working with Medical Staff Support.
