Crane Operator (Austin, TX) Austin Commercial

Responsibilities:

• Operate cranes to lift and move materials safely and efficiently.
• Inspect crane equipment and components daily to ensure proper functioning.
• Interpret load charts and follow lift plans provided by site engineers.
• Communicate clearly with riggers and signal persons to coordinate lifts.
• Maintain accurate records of crane operations and inspections.
• Comply with OSHA and company safety standards at all times.
• Assist with minor crane maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
• Support other site activities when crane operations are not required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating cranes in commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of crane load charts rigging practices and safety protocols.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and at heights.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience operating multiple types of cranes (e.g. tower crawler hydraulic).
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
• Familiarity with Austin Commercials safety and operational standards.
