Job Summary

At Majestic Steel USA were more than a steel service center were a team of innovators and relationship builders committed to growth. As a Business Development Manager youll help expand Majestics reach across OEM and Construction markets by identifying opportunities developing partnerships and strengthening our position as a trusted steel solutions provider. This is a full-time outside sales role with travel throughout your assigned region. Your drive insight and ability to build lasting relationships will fuel Majestics continued growth.

What Youll Do:

  • Expand Regional Market Share: Identify qualify and close new business opportunities within assigned region.
  • Grow Existing Accounts: Develop and execute account strategies to increase share with current high-upside customers and re-engage inactive accounts.
  • Strategic Selling: Collaborate with marketing and technical resources to design customized solutions that meet customer needs and align with Majestics growth objectives.
  • Market Intelligence: Analyze market trends customer behavior and competitive activity to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and manage a strong opportunity pipeline using CRM and analytics tools; forecast and report accurately.
  • Partnership Building: Establish long-term relationships with decision-makers across purchasing operations and engineering.
  • Collaborative Execution: Work cross-functionally to ensure seamless customer experience from pricing and logistics to fulfillment and service.
  • Other job-related duties and special projects as assigned

Who Were Looking For:

Education & Experience:

  • Marketing Business Marketing Supply Chain or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum three (3) years of sales or business development experience within steel metals manufacturing industrial distribution or related industry
  • Expertise in developing and managing OEM or large industrial accounts

Technical Proficiency: Technologically savvy with experience using CRM systems Microsoft Office and other Windows-based applications

Skills:

  • Strong communication presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to identify opportunities build relationships and close deals

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • Five (5) years of sales or business development experience ideally within steel metals manufacturing or industrial distribution

Additional:

  • Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively from a home office setting
  • Must be able to work outside normal business hours/days as needed
  • Must be able to travel up to 80% local and overnight
